Job Purpose

Outside Sales are responsible for developing new business, growing existing accounts, and building strong customer relationships within their assigned territory, with a focus on the mobile mining industry. This role requires proactive business development, strategic account management, and sound judgment in driving growth. Routine monthly travel is expected to engage customers and pursue new opportunities.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

· Develop and execute a strategic sales plan focused on mining operations and contractors.

· Promote Sy-Klone’s advanced air filtration solutions for mobile equipment, including engine pre-cleaners and cab filtration systems.

· Identify opportunities for equipment upgrades, retrofits, and service packages that enhance fleet performance and operator safety.

· Conduct site visits to assess equipment requirements, deliver product demonstrations, and provide technical consultations.

· Engage directly with mine-site leadership, including C-suite executives, to present the value proposition of Sy-Klone solutions.

· Build and maintain strong relationships with site managers, maintenance teams, and procurement officers.

· Collaborate with service partners and distributors to ensure timely delivery, installation, and after-sales support.

· Represent Norcan at mining expos, trade shows, and industry events to showcase Sy-Klone solutions.

· Track sales activities, customer engagements, and pipeline progress using CRM tools.

· Maintain target accounts by capturing key customer insights and tracking opportunities for each.

· Present sales opportunities and sales plans in weekly sales meetings to ensure team alignment on the sales process, next steps, and timelines required to secure wins.

Qualifications and Experience

· 3+ years of outside sales experience in mining, heavy equipment, or industrial solutions.

· Strong technical knowledge of mobile equipment systems and aftermarket upgrades.

· Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

· Ability to travel frequently to remote mine sites and customer locations.

· Experience with CRM platforms and Microsoft Office Suite.

· Degree or diploma in Business, Engineering, or a related field preferred.

Working Environment

· Standard office environment attached to a workshop/warehouse in an industrial manufacturing/service setting

· May be required to wear PPE (hardhat, protective boots, hearing protection, coverall) from time to time

· Must be able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time
