We are currently seeking a motivated individual for the position of and Site Measurer/Installer based out of Edmonton, AB with some travel within Alberta. This is a full-time, permanent, hourly position with potential for overtime. Preference will be given to candidates who have Site Supervisor/Leadership experience for short-term growth opportunities.

Job Responsibilities:

The Site Measurer/Installer is responsible to measure a worksite accurately and to provide these measurements to the design team. They must be able to work with deductions in cases of in-completion projects. Slopes and obstructions need to be identified and solutions proposed to the Project Manager or Site Supervisor. This role actively participates in the continuous improvement process and acts as a representative of ABC Company in the field. The Site Measurer/Installer acts as an on-site installer for railings/privacies/pergolas etc. that meet high standards for quality.

Duties include but are not limited to;

- Work with Site Management to get access to site

- Create Site Reports in a timely manner

- Verify deductions

- Install/Repair Railing, Privacies etc

- Complete quality checks

- Accurately measure and aggregate site dimensions

- Interpret technical drawings

- Some infrequent travel may be required throughout Alberta to support remote installations

Education and Skills Required:

- Minimum 1 year of Installation experience preferred

- High Degree of Accuracy and Flexibility

- Knowledge of the railing business considered an asset

- Ability to install railing/privacies etc. and lift up to 80 lbs unassisted

- Professional Demeanor

- Ability to lift 50lbs

- Basic Excel Skills

- Valid Drivers License and clean drivers extract

- Ability to meet and manage towards deadlines

- Ability to work on multiple sites per week

- Grade 12 Education or GED

- Must have valid safety certificates including; Fall Protection (required), First Aid (optional)
