Full job description
We are a locally owned road & street construction and paving contractor. We are seeking a Distributor Truck Driver for our Paving Crew for the remainder of the 2025 work season.

Inviting qualified candidates from within Canada only.

Responsibilities:

Proper machine startup, operation, and shutdown knowledge.
Operate the distributor safely and efficiently.
Understand and follow directions from supervisors as to the required work area and emulsion distribution rates.
Cleaning and setting of spray bars
Perform daily maintenance checks and report any mechanical or safety issues to supervisor/foreman
Monitor vehicle performance and mechanical fitness
Work with the asphalt paving crew when the distributor is not required
Other road construction and labour duties as assigned
Requirements:

Must have a clean class 5 driver’s license with Q endorsement (air brakes)
Must have prior experience in a distributor truck, water truck or similar
Must be willing to work and travel throughout Central Alberta (may be away for approx. 24 days at a time)
Must be local to the Red Deer area or supply own accommodation while working local
Must have reliable means of transportation
Must have previous experience with a distributor truck OR a water truck
