Territory Sales Manager - Alberta
Benshaw Canada Controls Inc. is looking for a passionate and motivated individual to join our team. As a Territory Sales Manager (TSM) located in Alberta, you will have a pivotal role in driving all sales-related activities in the territory. These activities will include business development, maintaining distributor relationships, product presentations and customer site visits. This role reports to Commercial Director.

What will you do?

Manage and develop the existing distributor network within the territory.
Identify and manage a pipeline of new potential customers and partners.
Develop and maintain active knowledge on both core and competitive products.
Collaborate with Inside Sales team to prepare quotations, contracts and all other sales related documentation.
Travel to all areas of the territory to meet with distributors, customers, decision makers and end users.
Set goals and objectives based on evaluation of territory potential that match company initiatives.
Participate in product development and design by providing customer input and feedback.
Coordinate tasks and deadlines with various internal departments to ensure that all projects are completed to the customer’s requirements.
Travel Requirements:

Travel to customer sites and Benshaw Group locations is required, up to 75%
What you will bring to the position:

Technical diploma or certificate in electrical engineering and/or minimum 5 years equivalent experience with industrial electrical products
Strong technical ability on motor control equipment
Minimum 5 years of sales experience
Familiarity with CRM software and other relevant tools for managing customer relationships
Experience and/or understanding of Benshaw products or similar products, applications and the electrical motor control industry
Ability to understand complex electrical concepts
Exceptional customer service skills, enhanced by excellent written and verbal communication
Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Detail-oriented, independent self-starter
Valid driver’s license
