Job Overview
The Inside Sales Representative is the first point of contact for dealers and customers seeking information and assistance via phone, email, and the company website. This role is responsible for ensuring a smooth sales experience by providing prompt responses, professional customer service, and accurate product knowledge.

The Inside Sales Representative will qualify and partner with AMI Territory Mangers on all opportunities. They will follow up on leads, and support the quotation and be responsible for order management. Success in this role requires a results-driven mindset, excellent communication skills, and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction and sales growth.

This is a fully remote position. We are looking for a candidates that live in Alberta.

Key Responsibilities

Support the growth of assigned region(s)
Responsible to hit assigned targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Act as the first point of contact for incoming calls, emails, and website inquiries from dealers and end users, responding promptly and professionally.
Provide timely follow-up on leads and inquiries, qualifying opportunities and routing them to the appropriate sales team member.
Guide dealers through the quotation and order process, ensuring clear communication on lead times, specifications, and pricing options.
Develop and maintain a strong knowledge of AMI products, services, and applications to support customer needs.
Partner with the Inside Sales Manager and Territory Managers to track leads, develop follow-up strategies, and support sales initiatives.
Contribute to process improvements to enhance sales efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Provide backup support to Inside Sales colleagues, the AMI field sales team, and the company’s main business line when required.
Customer Relations Management (CRM) entry and other as directed by Manger – Not an all encompassing list
Education / Knowledge / Skills

Post-secondary education or equivalent relevant experience.
Experience in heavy equipment operation or knowledge of equipment applications is an asset.
Bilingual in English and French is a strong asset.
Ability to work 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. EST or 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Mountain time zones
Customer focus: proven ability to build and maintain relationships through effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Positive, motivated team player with a strong sense of urgency and attention to detail.
Strong phone and email communication etiquette.
Proficiency in MRP/ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
