NOVA & RPM are looking for A Journey Certified Powerline Technician, for a Temporary Job (1-2 months) , Based in Jasper Alberta.

Job Duties:

- Install, repair and maintain electrical distribution and transmission systems.

- Install and maintain poles, towers and guy wires.

- Install, maintain and repair overhead and underground power lines and cables, insulators, conductors, lightning arrestors, switches, transformers, street lighting and other associated equipment, splice, solder and insulate conductors and related wiring to connect power distribution and transmission networks.

- Inspect and test power lines and cables.

- Install and maintain street lighting systems.

- Work with various types of heavy equipment including aerial booms, diggers (RDB), backhoes, trackhoes, nodwells, tension stringing equipment, and skid steers.

Requirements:

- Journey Certified Powerline Technician.

- Alberta driver’s license or equivalent.

- Equipment operating experience considered an asset.
