About Subcool Mechanical Inc.:
At Subcool Mechanical, we're a leading provider of plumbing and gasfitting services, specializing in remote camp installations and maintenance. We are currently seeking experienced Apprentice Plumbers/Gasfitters to join our growing team. This is a unique opportunity to work in a variety of remote locations (nationwide), offering great pay, benefits, and long-term career growth.

What We Offer:

Competitive Wage: $23.10–$47.00 per hour, based on experience

Potential Weekly Earnings: Up to $4150 (gross)
Key Responsibilities:

Install and service plumbing and gas systems in remote camps
Work with PVC, HDPE, PEX, and ABS piping materials
Diagnose, install, and repair plumbing fixtures, pipes, and drainage systems
Test systems for leaks and perform necessary repairs
Ensure compliance with local and provincial safety regulations
Install, maintain, and troubleshoot gas lines and propane systems, ensuring adherence to safety codes
Replace non-compliant equipment to meet current safety standards
Maintain a clean, organized worksite and uphold high standards of quality and safety
Job Requirements:

Journeyman: must have their Journeyman Ticket
Apprentices: must be enrolled in or have completed a plumbing/gasfitting apprenticeship program
Skills & Abilities:
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
Attention to detail and precision in all tasks
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift over 50 lbs and work in various conditions
Other Requirements:
Valid Driver's License (preferred)
Willingness to travel 100% to remote locations
Ability to depart from Edmonton, Alberta
Willingness to travel 100% of the time for work assignments
