Position Description
Our organization is seeking a skilled and reliable Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our team in Hanna, Alberta. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a diverse fleet of heavy-duty vehicles and equipment. Responsibilities

Perform inspections, diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance on heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and related equipment
Identify and address mechanical issues efficiently to minimize downtime
Maintain detailed service records and ensure compliance with safety and maintenance standards
Conduct road tests and equipment checks to confirm quality of repairs
Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to ensure optimal equipment performance
Adhere to all company safety policies and industry regulations
Qualifications

Journeyman/Red Seal Heavy Duty Mechanic certification (required)
CVIP license is an asset
Class 3 driver’s license preferred (or willingness to obtain)
Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in hydraulics, engines, and electrical systems
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
