Job Description:

We are looking for a qualified Breathing Air Trailer Technician Manager to operate, oversee, maintain, and monitor breathing air equipment at remote job sites. This is a field-based role requiring travel throughout Alberta. The ideal candidate will be mechanically inclined, dependable, and committed to working in a high-safety environment.

Responsibilities:

Managing a crew of 10 to 15
Set up and operate breathing air trailers and related safety equipment on job sites
Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and troubleshooting of breathing air systems
Conduct daily logs and equipment checks to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance
Work closely with site supervisors and safety personnel to ensure proper usage and response protocols
Assist with confined space entries and be prepared for rescue situations as required
Adhere to all company and client safety standards, including participation in tailgate meetings and hazard assessments
Requirements:

Valid Class 5 driver’s license (clean abstract preferred)
Must have the following valid safety certifications:
H2S Alive
Standard First Aid & CPR
Confined Space Entry & Monitor
Confined Space Rescue
Previous experience with breathing air trailers or related field equipment is an asset
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Willingness to work in remote locations and in all weather conditions
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
Compensation:
