Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Over the Road Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting cement powder and frac sand in pneumatic Btrain configurations throughout Alberta. Hours of work will be in accordance with Federal Logbook regulations.

Responsibilities

Operate and drive heavy-duty trucks over long distances to transport bulk cement powder and frac sand to various locations.
Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of the vehicle(s) to ensure all equipment is in safe operating condition.
Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, rest periods, and mileage as required by federal regulations.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
Perform minor repairs and maintenance on the truck and trailers as needed to ensure optimal performance.
Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while maintaining a safe driving record.
Requirements

Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is required. Class with Air Brakes.
Proven experience in commercial driving with a strong understanding of freight transportation.
Knowledge of Pneumatic Tank trailers is an asset - BTrain experience is an asset.
Basic knowledge of maintenance and repair to handle minor mechanical issues on the road.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively while on long-haul trips throughout Alberta.
