Job Summary:
We are looking for a motivated Commission-Based Sales Representative to join our growing team.
As we expand our sales in the Maritimes, Newfoundland, Alberta, and Ontario, this field-based position is ideal for someone who enjoys meeting clients, visiting hotel properties, and developing long-term business relationships.

You will represent Encore Draperies Inc. in your assigned provinces, working directly with hotel owners, purchasing managers, and interior designers to promote our custom draperies and bed coverings.

This is a commission-only position, best suited for sales representatives with existing product lines.

Key Responsibilities:

General Sales Responsibilities
Stay informed on market trends, competitor offers, and client preferences.
Represent Encore Draperies Inc professionally in all interactions.
Achieve sales targets through proactive outreach and follow-up with both existing and potential clients.
Business Development & Sales
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including hotels under construction or renovation.
Manage sales territory independently, planning visits and outreach to maximize sales.
Actively engage with potential clients to present drapery, blinds and bed covering solutions and secure new orders.
Client Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing hotel clients, ensuring ongoing satisfaction and repeat business.
Communicate professionally throughout the sales process to maintain trust.
Internal Coordination
Assist in preparing quotes, including providing clients' needs, room measurements and project timelines.
Coordinate with the office team on manufacturing, delivery, and installation to ensure smooth project execution.
Provide feedback to internal teams on client needs, preferences, and potential product improvements.
Candidate Qualifications:

Proven 3+ years of experience in sales, preferably in hospitality supply or fabric/textile products.
Experience or degrees in the drapery, textile, or hospitality field is considered an asset.
Knowledge of window treatments, fabrics, or furnishings is considered an asset.
Strong communication, negotiation, relationship-building, and interpersonal skills, with excellent presentation abilities.
Customer-focused mindset, with the ability to anticipate client needs and deliver a positive experience.
Fluency in English is required.
Self-motivated and able to work independently.
Must currently reside in the Maritimes, or Newfoundland, or Alberta, or Ontario, and have access to a vehicle and a valid driver’s license, with the ability and willingness to travel within the province as needed.
Compensation:

This is a 100% commission-based role, with compensation fully dependent on sales performance.
Earn up to 10% commission per project, with no maximum earning potential.
Work Environment:

This is a field-based/remote role, primarily on the road visiting hotel clients across assigned province in Canada.
No office work is required
Flexible working hours to accommodate client meetings and project schedules.
