Who We Are

Steven and Daniel Souto, the dynamic duo behind Steve & Dan's Fresh BC Fruit, proudly carry on their family farming legacy as third-generation cultivators. Steve & Dan’s Fresh BC Fruit has brought that passion to Alberta farmers' markets for the last 15+ years. Role Description:

Reporting to the Market Manager, market staff are our greatest brand ambassadors and play a key role in our business. They are exceptional at creating outstanding customer experiences and creating a sense of community by developing authentic relationships with our customers. Our market staff are thoughtful, hardworking, caring, and trustworthy people.

Role Responsibilities:

Create intentional customer experiences and build authentic customer relationships
Adhere to all company training, operational standards, and procedures
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Ability to do quick math and ensure transactions are accurate
Strong communication skills and openness to feedback and coaching
Demonstrate a high level of fruit and vegetable knowledge
Support with completing all opening/closing and daily tasks, as assigned.
Work Hours:

Must be available Wednesday mornings between 9-330pm. Hours are not guaranteed and are subject to change.
This position is a seasonal contract for the summer farmers market season.
There is potential to work in this position again for future summer seasons.
