We are seeking staff for the summer season, from April 15th to October 15th for Terracana Ranch Resort.

Please note that Terracana Ranch is in a remote location, about 1 1/2 hour away from Jasper.

JOB SUMMARY:

The Housekeeping Attendant role is crucial to maintaining our high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. You will actively collaborate with all departments to ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience for our guests. The ideal candidate will excel in productivity and have a passion for cleanliness and providing excellent service.

JOB RESPONSIBILTIES:

Room Cleaning and Maintenance:

Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including vacuuming, dusting, changing bed linens, and replenishing amenities.
Ensure all kitchenettes are properly cleaned and stocked with essential items.
Stripping all linens and assisting with the laundry.
Report any maintenance issues or damage to the appropriate department.
Collaboration with Other Departments:

Actively participate in cross-departmental training, communication, and collaboration.
Coordinate with front desk staff to ensure timely room turnovers and accommodate guest requests.
Work closely with maintenance and management to address any issues affecting guest satisfaction.
Productivity and Time Management:

Implement efficient cleaning routines to maximize productivity.
Adhere to a strict schedule for room turnovers and prioritize tasks to meet operational demands.
Report any challenges affecting productivity to the housekeeping supervisor.
Quality Assurance:

Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation in all areas of the hotel.
Conduct thorough inspections of rooms to ensure accuracy and attention to detail.
Respond promptly to guest feedback and take corrective action as needed.
Adhere to rules regarding health & safety and follow all company policies and procedures.
Ensure all lost property is properly logged and returned to owner.
Hotel Amenities and Facilities:

Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of common areas of the property.
Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies and amenities in work areas.
Monitor consumables inventory and replace as appropriate.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Ability to nurture a good working relationship with your team and other departments, such as reception and maintenance.
Strong attention to detail to ensure rooms are spick and span, well serviced and that equipment is stored safely.
A stickler for health and safety.
Approachable and positive but firm with a huge level of personal integrity that leads by example.
Ability to work efficiently and effectively with minimal supervisor, independently and as part of a team.
Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong time management skills and ability to juggle many duties.
Customer-oriented.
REQUIREMENTS:

Valid Class 5 driver’s licence is mandatory.
This is a physically demanding role. Candidate must be able to do full days of physical work. Candidates must be able to safely bend, lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
For periods of the day, you will be required to be outside in the elements, regardless of weather.
Previous housekeeping experience in a hotel setting is preferred.
Computer & Microsoft Software Literacy is an asset.

Terracana Ranch Resort is a 500-acre Ranch and Resort in British Columbia, an hour west of Jasper, Alberta. It is part of INNHotels, a Family of Independent Hotels with properties in Canmore, Jasper, Grande Cache, Red Deer, Stony Plain, Invermere, and Valemount.
