What will be your daily pursuit?:
To support, coach and inspire the food and beverage team in the delivery of an exceptional hospitality culinary experience, fueling our guests and staff for adventure!
This fun summer job starts May and runs until October 2024!
Compensation:
The starting salary for this position is $19.50.

What will you do in this job?:
The food and beverage supervisor will offer daily support, coaching and direction to the front of house team in the pursuit of hospitality excellence. This role directly supports the food and beverage Manager in meeting and delivering upon our core values, standard operating procedures and business targets.
To provide support, training and or coaching to ensure the front of house team delivers an interactive, knowledgeable and professional food and beverage experience
Actively participating in the daily food and beverage operation including coordination of scheduling, recognition and performance management duties – all with best office view you could ask for!
Ensure a memorable and positive experience for our guests and staff through implementing and delivering upon the standard operating policies and procedures as they relate to the food and beverage operations, safety and employee engagement.
A passion for coaching and developing employees with a proven track record of “safety 1st practices
Ensuring accurate cash, debit and credit card transactions
Preparation and verification of daily cash reports
Act as the direct line of support in handling any service -related issues, actively listening to guest concerns/issues and finding effective resolution.
Coordinate staff break and lunches as required
Uphold the high standard of environmental stewardship expected for all employees
Coordinate food and beverage orders and inventory with the Food and Beverage Manager
Interacting with customers to attain feedback as to their experiences following up on any issues and passing on any bigger issues requiring further action to management
Ensure the restaurant area is clean and organized at all times
Other duties as assigned by the food and beverage Manager
What skills and experience do you need for this job?:
1 year of F&B Supervisor experience
Second language an asset
Natural ability to lead a team
Detail oriented with good communication skills
Strong hospitality/service skills
Microsoft office proficient
POS system experience
Cash handling experience
High volume experience
Handle stress in a professional manner
Enjoy working with a team in a busy, fast-paced environment
Experience with cash out procedures
Experience in similar leadership role an asset
Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods of time in both an indoor and outdoor environment. Be prepared for all weather conditions (Snow, Rain, Wind, Hail)
Must meet the Organization grooming and appearance standards
