Position Overview

The Assistant Tram Operations Supervisor reports to the Tram Operations Supervisor as well as the Maintenance & Operations Manager. This is a key role towards ensuring the mountain runs in a safe and efficient manner. The Assistant Lift Ops Supervisor will help lead the Lift Operations team of up to 20 seasonal staff.

The incumbent should expect to work outside in all weather conditions.

This is an hourly full-time, seasonal position, five days of 8-hour shifts per week, during operating season (March – October).

Accommodation may be available upon arrival and provided on a temporary basis.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:
Lead daily lift operations and ensure all safety protocols and company policies are adhered to.
Ensure operation records/logs are kept in accordance with relevant safety codes and insurance provider requirements.
Training of tram operator’s staff
Assist with Completing scheduling & payroll information for the Lift Ops team.
Monitor and document tram operator performance to provide meaningful feedback and direction.
Assist with maintaining a clean, safe workplace.
Assist the Lift & Building Maintenance team as required.
Maintain open communication and work closely with all departments.
Assist in emergency situations.
Always represent the company in a professional way.
Other duties as assigned.

Respect and adhere to the company’s policies and procedures as set in the “Corporate Policies”, “Employee Handbook” and “Safety Operations Training Manuals”
Understand and adhere to Jasper Skytram “Harassment Policy” and the company’s “Privacy Policy”.
Qualifications/Requirements:
High School Diploma required.
1-2 years of previous tourism hospitality experience.
Proven ability to lead.
Computer program competency (excel, word etc.).
Physically capable of lifting up to 40 lbs.
Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, holidays and weekends.
Arial lift industry or related experience is an asset.
Working at heights up to 70 meters above ground.
