Full job description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our team. As a Line Cook/Prep Cook, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and cooking of various dishes in our kitchen. Your culinary expertise and attention to detail will contribute to the overall success of our restaurant.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and gathering spices
- Assist in the cooking and presentation of dishes according to recipes and quality standards
- Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies
- Clean and maintain work areas, utensils, and equipment
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient service
- Monitor food inventory and communicate any shortages or discrepancies

Experience:
- Previous experience working in the food industry or a similar role is preferred
- Knowledge of kitchen operations and culinary techniques
- Familiarity with dietary department guidelines is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
