Summary of Responsibilities:

· Reporting to the Director of Food and Beverage

· Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

· Follow company policies, procedures and service standards

· Have a friendly and approachable, positive and professional image at all times

· Knowledge of food and beverage items and preparation methods, in order to assist guests with selections

· Anticipate guests needs

· Setting up and stocking the restaurant to prepare for service

· Setting up and running the espresso machine

· Clear, bus and reset tables in a timely manner

· Ability to work quickly in a fast paced environment, multitask and work effectively as part of a team

· Keep the restaurant clean and orderly

· Complete opening and closing duties

· Maintain accurate guest checks, handle a cash float, balance credit card and cash sales at the end of every shift

· Perform additional duties as requested

· Complete other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

· A minimum of 1 year serving experience

· The ability to work well under pressure

· Physically fit, able to lift, stand and walk for the duration of the shift

· A genuine passion for people, food and beverage

· Must be a team player and demonstrate good organizational and communication skills

· Barista experience an asset

Physical Requirements include but not limited to:

· Constant standing and walking

· Frequent lifting and carrying up to 20lbs

· Occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling and lifting

Visa requirements:

· Candidates must hold the paperwork authorization to legally work in Canada
