Job Description


The Restaurant Banquet Server and Food Runner is a two part position. In the day they serve in the banquet room and in the evening, your primary responsibility is to ensure the seamless and timely delivery of food orders to our guests. You will work closely with the kitchen staff, bartender, cashier, and restaurant manager to enhance the overall dining experience. Your friendly and efficient service will contribute to the positive atmosphere in our establishment.


Key Responsibilities


Excellent customer service to our Tour Group guests in the banquet room.
Assist the Restaurant Supervisor with all banquets.
Ordering, stocking and rotating all supplies for the banquet room through the Deli Supervisor.
Cleaning the banquet room.
Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure accurate and timely preparation of food orders.
Run food orders to the correct tables, maintaining a high level of accuracy.
Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests and addressing any immediate needs.
Work closely with the bartender and cashier for efficient order coordination.
Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the dining area.
Participate in pre-service and post-service tasks, including setting up and cleaning tables.
Communicate effectively with the manager and other staff members to ensure a smooth operation.
Contribute to the overall positive and welcoming atmosphere of the restaurant.

Requirements


Previous serving experience or a similar role is an asset.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to detail and accuracy in order delivery.
Team player with a positive and friendly attitude.
Ability to handle customer inquiries and concerns professionally.
Knowledge of cash handling and POS systems.

Adaptability Note:

Sometimes, our Food Runner/Server, Bartender, and Cashier switch roles to keep things flexible and work together smoothly.


Compensation


Wage: $15/hour plus tips.
Staff accommodation is available for employees over the age of 18 at $4.41 per day.
Bonus: If contract is completed you will receive your rent back.
Referral Bonus: $500 if both yours and your referrals contract are completed.
