Dishwasher: Job Brief


The Dishwasher position at Sunwapta covers two shifts, morning and evening.

Under supervision of Sous Chef/Executive Chef, this position is responsible for keeping up with the dishes and pots. Clean up at the end of the shift is also very important.


Responsibilities and Duties


Keeping the dishes and pots clean and stocked in a timely fashion
Keeping the dishwasher clean and maintained
Changing and stocking the soap as needed
Recording all bucket changes
Moping and keeping the mop area clean and tidy
All kitchen garbage changed as needed
Tidy the loading dock
Assisting the Deli Prep cook if required
Assisting the Breakfast Cook as needed

Qualifications and Skills


This position requires a task master, you are a machine and love moving fast
You will be talking to people ALL shift so you will need to be comfortable doing that.
Respect is earned and you don’t have a problem with that concept
You think “minimum wage minimum work” is something lazy people think
To be successful you need to be interested in learning more about high quality restaurant food and service

Compensation


Wage: $17/hour plus bonuses.
Staff accommodation is available for employees over the age of 18 at $4.41 per day.
Bonus: If contract is completed you will receive $1 bonus for every hour worked and your rent returned.
Referral Bonus: $500 if both yours and your referrals contract are completed.
