Are you passionate about Jasper, an energetic storyteller, are you social and want to e-bike all summer? Our E-Bike Tour may just be your dream job!

Bites on E-Bikes is a 30 KM food tour on e-bike. Participants are guided through the scenic back roads of Jasper National Park. They visit canyons, lakes and beaches while listening to a knowledgeable interpretive guide and eating at multiple wilderness restaurants.

Your Responsibilities

As an e-bike guide, you will;

Review and sign off on the company’s Safety Policies
Ensure that the bikes and accessories are in good repair and batteries are charged
Assist guests with proper fitting of bikes and safety equipment
Ensure that all waivers are correctly filled out, signed, and witnessed
Demonstrate and oversee proper use of the bikes and equipment
Assess participants skills and ability to ride
Lead a group of up to 10 e-bike riders safely through Jasper National Park
Deliver a scripted interpretive program
Be an advocate for safety on the road and in the wilderness
Communicate with restaurant partners
Attend to the bike rental shop, assist guests with bike rental
Perform general bike maintenance duties
Report to any issues to management
Qualifications:

As successful candidate, you must;

Live in Jasper and have accommodation
Possess a minimum of 10 years' experience riding a bike
Be physically fit and capable of riding 40 km/day and up to 200 km/week
Have a strong understanding of bike mechanics
Be professional, energetic, engaging, and inclusive.
Be a problem solver, a critical thinker and demonstrate good decision-making.
Be a team player
Possess a class 5 drivers license
While training and support from the company is available, it would also be nice if you had;

Guiding experience in Jasper National Park
A valid Standard First Aid certificate including CPR (can be obtained prior to start date)
Basic IGA (Interpretive Guiding Association (can be obtained prior to start date)
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Casual, Seasonal

Salary: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 40 per week
