Decore Hotels is a small family-owned business with two locations in Jasper. We make it our mission to bring joy to our guests by providing clean and well-maintained hotel rooms and exceptional friendly service in the heart of the outstanding Jasper National Park.

If you are passionate about the outdoors and like the sound of spending your days off exploring the numerous hiking trails, frozen lakes, or ski slopes on offer in the park; then we want you to join our team as a Night Security.

The night security agent is responsible for the security and safety of our guests, hotel property, and staff.

Hours: Full-time - Nights 11 pm to 7 am

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the successful candidate will:

Conducts scheduled patrols of both of our hotel properties, including on-site staff accommodations.
Oversees security and safety of our guests and hotel.
On foot or in a company provided vehicle, will patrol hallways, stairwells, parking lots, all facilities, and all public areas around our properties.
Work closely with Front Desk team, responding to complaints from guests, patrons, and tenants of staff housing.
Respond to Front Desk for delivery of items to guest rooms, and maintenance issues.
Ensure compliance to all provincial and federal legislation and hotel policies and standards.
Prepare written reports and documentation of any and all incidents at the end of each shift.
Knowledge / Skills

Previous security experience of at least 1 year an asset
Quick, critical decision making.
Be familiar with all safety systems, security plans and procedures of hotel, WCB and OH&S regulations.
Be physically fit.
Be professional at all times, and maintain highest confidentiality.
Clean driver's license.
First Aid Certificate.
Must be legally authorized to work in Canada
