This job is posted as part of our seasonal hiring for Spring/Summer, 2026, it will be a full time seasonal role.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

The Pursuit Adventure Center (PAC) department principally assists all guests by providing information on Pursuit Banff Jasper attractions and services, as well as promoting, selling and making bookings for all of our related products and services. In addition to attractions, the PAC also hosts a retail store that this position will directly oversee with support from the retail operations team. The Guest Services Supervisor primarily runs and oversees the daily operation of the PAC, ensuring PAC operation is fully functional with support from Hotel Front Desk Agents to cover days off.

In addition to PAC, you will be required to perform some basic Front Desk duties when needed by ensuring guests receive the best service possible from our property. You might provide guests with their requested room, address their needs, and resolve any complaints they may have throughout their stay.

This is a multi-faceted position and can include any, or all, of the following:

Ensure that each member of the Jasper PAC operations provides an interactive and professional product, attraction and retail sales or resolution experience
Work collaboratively with the Retail & PAC Manager, Banff Outlets to deliver seamless and integrated service
Work collaboratively with Maligne Valley Retail Manager to ensure retail products are stocked and merchandised correctly
Ensure that all attraction and retail targets are being maintained; help with the implementation of promotional items
Maintain an excellent relationship with affiliates
Work closely with the central reservations dept as it relates to booking practices and product knowledge
Ensure a memorable and positive experience for our guests through implementing and delivering the standard operating policies and procedures as they relate to the PAC operations, safety and employee engagement standards and practices
Act as the “on the floor” daily operations, then providing any needed support to Guest Experience agents who cover your days off as required
Operate as a sales agent fulfilling shifts required during the operating week
Effectively deal with any service recovery issues that may arise with support as required from the central reservations dept or Maligne Lake guest services office, reporting larger issues to management
Complete according daily/ weekly sales tracking reporting
Part of a larger adventure centre team, ticket agent staffing will be managed and shared between Hotel Front Desk and the Jasper PAC office location. This will involve scheduling collaboration with the Hotel Front Desk operation
Responsible for daily cash handling practices and safeguards, including proper use of POS stations, cash floats, change orders and cash-outs
Coordinate with the Jasper attractions guest services teams as to FIT activity scheduling needs to ensure visitation maximization.
Ensure according retail inventory/fixtures are well stocked and clean at all times


REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

Previous supervisory, point of sale, cash handling & reconciliation experience, required
A strong hospitality-focused approach with a natural ability to proactively listen and empathize with guests and staff
A passion for coaching and developing employees with a proven track record of “safety 1st practices
Mature, energetic, dependable and self-motivated team player with a high attention to detail
Ability to take initiative and follow through on tasks needing attention
Adaptable to a changing work environment and different tasks
Enthusiastic and outgoing personality, ability to use this to engage with guests and in resort operators
Competent administrative skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
A self -starter who is comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment without direct supervision
Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods of time in both an indoor and outdoor environment. Be prepare for all season weather (snow, rain, wind, hail)
Class 5 driver’s license (clean abstract) an asset
The starting wage for this role is $22.00/hour.
