Maintenance Personnel are usually thought of as the handlers who keep hotel operations running smoothly and effectively from behind-the-scenes. While they are integral for making the hotel remain in peak condition, that doesn't mean we don't like to show them off and the great job they do! 

Maintenance Personnel still communicate and interact effectively and professionally with both guests and other staff to help ensure they can respond to all requests in a timely manner since they are not only responsible for sustaining many indoor and outdoor concerns of Decore Hotels, but also respond to individual guest issues with rooms.

Job Requirements – 

High School Diploma (or equivalent) – 

At least 1 year experience in general maintenance and/or repairs in 
Electrical 
Plumbing 
Painting 
Mechanical repair 
Groundskeeping 
Equivalent in technical operations – 
Capable of working long hours during shift work – 

Maintain the ability to do routine, physically labour-intensive tasks – 

Demonstration of time management and organizational skills – 

Internal communications skills 

Job Responsibilities – 

Assist and defer to Maintenance Manager in day-to-day duties – 

Maintain a detailed logbook – 

Work efficiently with minimal supervision in a fast and efficient manner – 

Know all hotel policies and regulations regarding safety, with an emphasis on emergency and accident prevention and documentation procedures – 

Maintain and store equipment in a safe and orderly manner – 

Working inside and outside in varying climate conditions
