Responsibilities:
Job Duties and Responsibilities

Coordinate the deployment and scheduling of heavy equipment for various construction projects, ensuring timely delivery and availability.

Maintain accurate records of equipment inventory, usage, maintenance history, and repairs.
Collaborate with project managers to assess equipment needs and allocate resources accordingly.
Conduct regular inspections of heavy machinery to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations
Coordinate routine maintenance and repairs with internal technicians or external service providers.
Monitor equipment performance and identify opportunities for optimization or replacement.
Develop and implement procedures for the safe operation and storage of heavy equipment.
Evaluate vendor proposals and negotiate contracts for equipment rental, purchases and maintenance services.
Stay updated on industry trends, regulations and technological advancements related to heavy equipment.
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Qualifications /Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field preferred).
A minimum of 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience with a variety of heavy equipment, including dozers, haul trucks, shovels, and excavators, graders from major brands like CAT, John Deere, Hitachi, and Komatsu.
Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent Customer Service skills
Demonstrated commitment to safe work practices.
A desire to make a difference and take pride in your work.
Collaborative communication style.
Demonstrated 2-5 years of equipment coordination experience within the heavy civil / mining sector or exposure to heavy equipment operations.
Proficiency in thriving within a fast-paced work environment, consistently delivering prompt and efficient responses to a high volume of emails.
Ability to perform effectively under pressure, meeting stringent deadlines.
Intermediate to advanced skillset in utilizing MS Office, with a particular focus on Excel and Outlook.
Exemplary organizational abilities, adept at managing multiple concurrent priorities.
Strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service, whether to internal or external clients.
Willingness to work occasional overtime and participate in an on-call rotation, including evenings and weekends, as required.
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills to troubleshooting equipment issues and optimize performance
Schedule
Monday to Friday with weekend / evening on call rotation
Travel to other job sites may be required
