Job Overview:

We are seeking a reliable Shuttle Driver to join our Housing team at Emerald Lake Lodge. As a member of our Housing Team, Housing Shuttle Drivers are involved in welcoming and transporting new colleagues from the designed pick-up points to our Staff Accommodation in Emerald Lake Lodge. This role is crucial in ensuring that our colleagues have convenient and reliable transportation options, especially in a remote area like Emerald Lake Lodge.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide a friendly and welcoming service to staff members using the shuttle, creating a positive and inclusive atmosphere during transportation, ensuring a pleasant experience for all colleagues.
Assist the Housing team with the arrival of new staff members.
Pick up new staff members from designed pick-up points and transport them to their unit.
Safely operate the shuttle between Emerald Lake Lodge and Golden, Lake Louise, Banff, and Canmore.
Adhere to designated routes, schedules, and traffic laws to ensure timely transportation.
Regularly clean and maintain the cleanliness of the staff shuttle to ensure a comfortable environment for passengers.
Conduct routine cleaning tasks such as interior cleaning, trash removal, and sanitization.
Complete daily routine maintenance reports for the staff shuttle, documenting any issues or concerns.
Alert management promptly about any maintenance issues that require attention to ensure the safe operation of the shuttle.
Clean the public areas of the staff accommodation, including the bathrooms and kitchen, as required.
Requirements/Experience:

Valid driver’s license 5 with clean abstract (Canadian/International).
Previous shuttle driver experience preferred.
Proven safe driving record with winter conditions experience.
Strong communication, organization and time management.
Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and endure physical demands.
Flexible schedule – able to workdays, evenings, weekends
Familiarity with local area and attractions is an asset.
