The Food & Beverage Coordinator provides centralized administrative, event, financial, and operational support to the Jasper Lodging Food & Beverage team. This role acts as a key liaison between F&B Operations, Culinary, Sales, Reservations, Marketing, People Team, Finance, and community partners to ensure accurate communication, strong event execution, financial controls, and consistent guest and team member experience across all properties.

The role supports day-to-day F&B operations while helping leaders improve efficiencies, maintain accurate reporting, coordinate events and group business, and uphold Pursuit hospitality standards.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

Receive, prioritize, and coordinate requests for internal team communication across Jasper Lodging F&B.
Assist Operations Managers with uniform distribution, onboarding, orientation, and the arrival experience for new team members.
Assist in preparing operational, event activity, and status reports for the Director of Food & Beverage and key business stakeholders.
Compile and review guest experience scores and respond to guest feedback through Medallia and other approved guest review platforms.
Support cash-handling controls, including maintenance and monthly reconciliation/submission of F&B cash floats and petty cash to Accounting.
Support accurate monthly inventory procedures and controls, including invoice verification, pricing updates, storage organization, Accounts Payable follow-up, and beverage inventory.
Assist with creating specification books, Food and Beverage audits for all Jasper Lodging Properties.
Assist with centralized beverage administration, recipe input, master pricing reporting.
Liaise with Reservations, Sales, Tourism Jasper, and Marketing to coordinate internal bookings, special events, promotions, and IBE builds.
Support group and event business by reviewing BEO information, pulling Delphi reports for BEO meetings, and ensuring key F&B details are accurate and communicated to operational teams.
Compose and distribute BEOs and communicate internal Jasper Lodging events, community events, group business, and operational changes to the F&B team.
Maintain daily updates for group bookings and communicate relevant changes to F&B Operations and Culinary teams.
Become fully trained in Delphi and generate required daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
Support OpenTable administration, including reservations, BEO-related blocks, restaurant buyouts, and communication with Marketing and Jasper Lodging teams for required guest-facing updates.
Assist in developing and maintaining F&B training manuals, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), menu specification books, menu engineering data, and master pricing sheets, ensuring information remains current and aligned with POS systems.
Assist with menu and POS administration, including maintaining accurate pricing and supporting updates required for new menus, promotions, and operational changes.
Coordinate and track F&B sustainability initiatives aligned with Pursuit's Promise to Place (P2P) commitments and assist in engaging the wider Lodging and F&B teams on these initiatives.
Participate in the Pursuit Community Fund Committee and assist with employee, community, charitable, and volunteer initiatives.
Assist the People team running community and team events, volunteer opportunities in the community.
Compile, curate, and distribute regular F&B communications and newsletters, ensuring key updates, priorities, and recognition are shared across the department.
Provide clear, structured written and verbal communication to F&B leadership, including meeting notes, action items, deadlines, and follow-up where required.
Demonstrate an operational presence and assist F&B teams during service, events, training, or high-volume periods when additional support is required.
Lead or assist with small-group training to reinforce operational procedures, systems, service standards, and consistency across Jasper Lodging F&B locations.
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

3+ years of Food & Beverage, hospitality, administration, or event experience; previous supervisory or leadership experience is an asset.
Exceptional organizational and time-management skills with a high level of attention to detail.
Experience in programming and report generation
Cash handling and reporting experience
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines within a fast-paced, multi-property hospitality environment.
Strong public speaking and presentation skills, with the confidence to lead training and communicate effectively with small groups of team members.
Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel, training guide creation and the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems.
A valid driving license is considered an asset
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments.
