Summary

The Project Manager – Sales & Marketing will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of sales and marketing initiatives across multiple channels. This role ensures marketing campaigns, retail activations, product launches, and sales strategies are executed on time, on budget, and in full compliance with cannabis regulations.

Responsibilities

Project & Campaign Management

Manage and track timelines for marketing campaigns, brand activations, and product launches
Oversee creative development and production of marketing assets
Ensure all campaign elements meet compliance requirements (provincial & federal)
Develop and implement strategic sales and marketing plans to promote Freedom's products.
Analyze market trends and consumer behavior to identify opportunities for growth.
Conduct regular market research to stay ahead of industry trends.
Sales Support

Coordinate with sales reps and retail partners to roll out marketing promotions
Develop and maintain sales enablement tools (sell sheets, presentations, pricing decks)
Assist with trade shows, pop-ups, events, and budtender education programs
Manage relationships with key stakeholders and partners.
Oversee marketing campaigns across various channels, ensuring brand consistency.
Monitor sales performance metrics and adjust strategies as needed.
Cross-Functional Collaboration

Serve as a liaison between marketing, sales, operations, compliance, and product teams
Run regular check-ins and status meetings to ensure alignment and momentum
Work closely with legal/compliance to review all marketing materials
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with production capabilities.
Lead a team of marketing professionals, fostering a culture of creativity and innovation.
Reporting & Optimization

Track campaign performance and ROI using platforms like HubSpot, CRM, or Google Analytics
Monitor sales KPIs and recommend adjustments to support business growth
Maintain project documentation and post-mortem reviews for continuous improvement
Required

3+ years of experience in project management, marketing coordination, or sales operations
1–2 years of experience in the cannabis, alcohol or any other regulated industry.
Strong organizational and communication skills
Experience with project management tools (Excel, Monday.com, Scribe)
Familiarity with digital marketing, CRM tools, and basic design platforms (Adobe)
Qualifications

Strong understanding of market dynamics and consumer behavior.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
Experience with digital marketing strategies and tools is a plus.
Leadership experience with a focus on team development and motivation.
