Duties Reporting to the Field Unit Superintendent, this position will be responsible for leading the Jasper Field Unit Human Resources Team and will be a key member of the management team. You will be responsible and accountable for the delivery of the full range of human resources services to Jasper National Park and Fort St. James Historic Site. You will provide day to day direction to the team of Human Resources Advisors and Assistants. As a leader, you will be responsible for fostering their career development and growing their capabilities as human resources professionals. You will lead through influence and provide guidance to help managers exercise their authorities in an ever-evolving HR landscape. Your challenges will include leading projects / initiatives, providing strategic advice and leadership on a multitude of complex issues which include grievances, investigations, and disability management. Degree equivalency EXPERIENCE IN: Significant experience with providing advice and recommendations to management in the following HR disciplines: staffing, labour relations, occupational health and safety, disability management, classification, or HR Planning Significant experience providing operational services and strategic advice, to clients relating to Labour Relations and Disability Management in a unionized setting. Experience leading, participating in and advising on complex projects and programs that reach across many stakeholders at all levels of an organization. Experience preparing presentations and writing briefing notes and reports for Senior Management and Executive Level audiences. Experience working with centralized services and/or collaborating with centers of expertise. Experience managing and/or leading a team.
