Position: Ironworker Journeyperson & Apprentices - CNRL Albian - Fall Turnaround

Project Type: Turnaround (CNRL Albian)

Jardeg is recruiting Journeyperson and Apprentice Ironworker’s to join the Heartland Constructors Inc. team at the CNRL Albian site near Fort McMurray, Alberta for the 2024 fall turnaround. OT is available and out of province travel allowances are also provided.



Come be a part of an outstanding team working with industry leaders who have been executing work at the Albian site for over a decade. This is a temporary role starting September 9th and running until September 26, 2024.


Responsibilities:

Erect and Install scaffolding, construction cranes, derricks and other hoisting equipment.
Assemble rigging (cables, pulleys, hooks) to move heavy equipment and materials. Assemble and erect pre-fabricated metal structures
Check the alignments and join steel parts by bolting or tack welding them with an electric arc process.


Position Qualifications:

Journeyperson Certification and/or Interprovincial Red Seal
Valid apprenticeship
Satisfactory completion of a Pre-Access Drug and Alcohol Test
CSTS 09 or CSO
Confined Space
Fall Protection
Basic Rigging
