Summary
This is a unique opportunity that offers the chance to work with a variety of technology systems and infrastructure in an office with a view located in the beautiful Jasper National Park, Alberta. It is a mix of user support and systems administration with a daily ski break or lunch at the summit. Our systems are designed to provide the best customer experience possible; this role will be an integral part of supporting our front line and back-office teams.
The Business Support Representative is responsible for supporting end users with the various technology products in our multiple mountain locations. Maintaining and assisting in the planning of the Information Technology department lifecycle, and ensuring the technical operations are reliable, secure, and operational.

Job Duties
Responsibilities:
Provide end user support to inbound ticket requests from end users.
Triage inbound service requests from end users and determine appropriate resources for resolution.
Install, modify, and repair computer hardware & software.
Run diagnostic programs to resolve computer problems
Tier 1 server & Network device management. (Connectivity issues & New user setup) Resolve technical problems with WAN & LAN
Follow-up with clients to ensure issue resolution
Escalate out of scope issues to vendor support.
Train and educate end users on technical procedures.
Additional Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate and up to date documentation through the change management process.
Maintain accurate and real time up to date timesheets.
Attending meetings on site and remote as required.
Workstation rollouts and add moves changes.
Telephone adds/moves and changes.
At least 1-year demonstrated experience managing & working with any of the following technologies:
Windows Operating System (7,10,11)
Microsoft Office Suite (2010 & Newer)
Windows Server Operating Systems
TCP/IP / LAN / WAN
Office 365 / Teams\
RTP|One Resort / Siriusware
Job Requirements
College technical degree from reputable faculty, technical certifications or an acceptable combination of education and experience. (Post Secondary)
At least 1 year of direct work experience in a customer facing technical role or demonstrated post-secondary lab experience.
Understanding of backup, recovery, storage management, methodologies, processes, and tools.
Office 365, Microsoft Office suite experience
Able to interpret the operational needs of end users, project managers, and other stakeholders.
Ability to write clear and accurate technical documentation.
Able to stay abreast of current and future technological developments or trends.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Able to work independently or as part of a team.
Self-starter and highly motivated to make proactive changes.
Ability to accept and integrate constructive feedback from superiors.
Effective deadline management and project management skills.
Knowledge of service level agreements and customer service standards.
Working Conditions
Willing and able to work outdoors in extreme conditions.
Ability to travel both mountains in all weather conditions. (Ski, Snowboard, Tram)
Occasional heavy lifting (25lbs) when installing equipment and peripherals
Overtime as required.
