The position:
The guest services agent is responsible for providing genuine customer service to our guests by booking tours, taking care of guest/tour group luggage, providing general information, checking in and out of guests, and helping the guests with any other inquiries in an efficient and consistent manner, while maintaining a positive and cooperative attitude and a SMILE.

Hours: Full time - must be flexible for shifts

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

Provide information about local features such as shopping, dining, nightlife, and recreational destinations
Make/book travel arrangements for sightseeing and other tours
Pick up and delivering items, or run errands for guests
Greet & assist guests in the Lobby
Greet & assist guests with baggage while checking in/out of the Hotel
Respond quickly to guest requests or complaints in a professional manner and ensure appropriate action is taken. Follow up to ensure guest satisfaction.
Thoroughly learn all duties of Front Desk and assist with Front Desk duties as required
Be familiar with all amenities and services available at the Sawridge Inn and Conference Centre and the town of Jasper
Maintain an open communication line through all shifts by proper use of the log book.
Keep brochure rack and other lobby information tidy, stocked and up to date
Promote team work and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other departments
Maintain the cleanliness of the bell stand, lobby and baggage room. Keep lobby door and windows clean when not busy with guests.
Provide shuttle service to guests.
Perform other duties as assigned.

SKILLS/EDUCATION REQUIRED
Qualifications:
Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills
Must speak fluent English, additional language an asset
Must be physically fit. This person must have the ability to lift a moderate weight
Pleasant and outgoing personality
Class 5 Alberta Driver?s license (for two years)
