KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Create detailed travel itineraries, provide accurate price quotations, and confirm reservations for flights, hotels, transportation, and tour packages. Handle ticketing processes, including issuance, changes, rebooking, cancellations, and refunds, ensuring accuracy and compliance with airline and supplier policies. Build and maintain strong relationships with travel suppliers (airlines, hotels, tour operators, car rental companies) to ensure competitive rates and smooth service delivery. Advise clients on visa requirements, travel insurance, health regulations, and other destination-specific travel advisories. Provide post-sales support, including itinerary updates, emergency assistance, and follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction. Manage corporate travel accounts, ensuring adherence to company travel policies, budget controls, and reporting requirements. Prepare and issue invoices, billing summaries, accurately and in a timely manner. Maintain accurate records and files for all bookings, client communications, and financial transactions. Stay up to date on travel industry trends, airline policies, promotional fares, and global travel advisories to provide clients with relevant recommendations. Offer personalized customer service by understanding client preferences, anticipating needs, and providing suitable travel options. Assist in marketing or promotional initiatives such as travel package offers, seasonal discounts, or referral programs. Support management with sales reporting, supplier performance monitoring, and identifying cost-saving or revenue opportunities. Collaborate with team members and other departments (finance, operations, and client services) to ensure seamless end-to-end travel coordination. Uphold company standards in customer service, confidentiality, and professional conduct at all times. JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Tourism, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in the travel industry, preferably as a travel agent, reservations officer, or customer service representative. Proven experience managing corporate and leisure travel accounts is an advantage. Skills and Competencies Strong knowledge of international and domestic travel procedures, airline fare structures, ticketing, and visa regulations. Excellent customer service and communication skills with a client-focused mindset. High attention to detail and accuracy in handling bookings, payments, and documentation. Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM or booking software tools. Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills with travel suppliers. Analytical and problem-solving abilities, especially in handling rebookings, cancellations, or travel disruptions. Professional demeanor with a commitment to confidentiality and ethical conduct. Other Requirements Up-to-date knowledge of global travel advisories, industry trends, and destination information.
