Alterra Experiences division is an operating unit of Alterra Mountain Company. The Experiences division is dedicated to building Alterra's adventure hospitality operations and maximizing the impact of bringing together the world's two largest heli-skiing businesses - CMH Heli-Skiing & Summer Adventures ("CMH") & Mike Wiegele Helicopter Skiing ("MWHS"). POSITION SUMMARY

Alterra Experiences division is looking for a strategic and results-driven Manager, Global Sales, to support our company's high performing, commission-based outside sales team. Working with the Sales and Marketing leaders, the Manager will be responsible for driving sales through our dedicated sales agents and representatives, expanding market presence, leading accountability and driving innovation.

This role requires a strong leader with a proven track record of managing high performing teams, driving lead generation and capture, and working productively with internal and external stakeholders. The Manager will work closely with the VP, Global Sales and other senior leaders to translate company goals into actionable plans, leveraging data, market insights, and customer feedback to inform decision-making.

The ideal candidate brings exceptional leadership skills, self-motivation and a guest-first mindset. They will play a central role in shaping our product and pricing strategy, optimizing performance, and building a high-impact global sales organization to support the company's next phase of growth.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES
Sales Leadership & Strategy
Accountable for commissionable sales results, optimizing close rate and ensuring team identifies and proactively closes leads.
Develop and execute global sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets.
Lead, coach, and motivate a geographically dispersed commissionable sales team.
Establish clear KPIs and performance metrics for individual and team success.
Collaborate with the revenue management team on pricing, promotion strategies and custom booking requests.
Team Management
Recruit, onboard, and train new sales representatives and agents.
Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing support and development.
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and high performance.
Market Expansion
Identify and pursue new market opportunities and strategic partnerships in underrepresented regions.
Analyze market trends and customer insights to inform sales tactics.
Represent CMH and MWHS at industry events, trade shows, and presentations.
Sales Operations
Oversee CRM usage and ensure accurate pipeline and forecasting data.
Collaborate with marketing to align campaigns with sales initiatives.
Monitor commission structures and ensure timely and accurate payouts.
Lead the ongoing development and enhancement of the Outside Sales reservation portal.
Industry and Guest Relationship Management
Build and maintain effective professional relationships with key stakeholders within the business and ski/luxury tourism industry.
Ensure exceptional guest experience throughout the sales cycle.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field.
10+ years of leadership experience with sales and guest service.
Experience selling in the ski, travel, or luxury tourism industries.
Experience with CRM programs and other associated sales software platforms.
Proven track record of driving exponential growth year over year in a related field.
Valid driver's license with clean driver's abstract.
