You’ll combine mechanical know-how with digital precision - working with flow computers, data extraction tools, and complex measurement systems while also leading maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting efforts in the field.

This position involves a significant amount of remote work staying in hotels and camps. Work locations are primarily in Grande Prairie, Fox Creek, Grande Cache and Fort St. John. Daily subsistence or camp bonus is included when applicable.

Duties

Lead and coordinate day-to-day testing operations for your crew.
Ensure test and measurement equipment are properly maintained, calibrated and compliant with Lynx and client standards.
Perform LGR testing using both portable 3-phase separators and permanent customer installations.
Sample natural gas, hydrocarbon liquids and produced water.
Inspect and verify metering equipment (orifice plates, V-cones, etc.).
Manage general gas meter calibration, liquid meter proving and site maintenance.
Train and mentor junior technicians, promoting safety, accuracy and continuous improvement.
Implement and track preventative maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
Use computer software for data collection, flow computer configuration and reporting.
Experience

On the job training will be provided and you will work with existing personnel to mentor you into Lynx policies and procedures.

Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience troubleshooting equipment.
Solid computer and data literacy - comfortable with Microsoft Excel, flow computer software and digital tools.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
A collaborative mindset with the ability to lead and mentor others.
Reliable, self-motivated and safety-conscious.
Valid Class 5 (or higher) driver’s license and clean abstract.
Ability to travel extensively and work in remote environments.
Experience pulling a trailer is an asset.
Successful candidates must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening.
