Position Overview:

We are seeking a Highly Experienced Full-Time Mortgage Underwriter (Document Specialist). Only candidates with Mortgage Industry experience will be considered.

This essential role will require the applicant to have experience in the Mortgage Industry. You will be working directly with clients as well as the Banks/Lenders in order to complete each Mortgage on behalf of a Mortgage Broker. We are looking for someone with a high level of knowledge and experience within the Mortgage Industry in order to keep pace with a top producing Mortgage Office.

The ideal candidate can be located in any province as remote work is available.

Key Requirements & Responsibilities:

Mortgage Industry Experience: A minimum of 2 years of Mortgage Industry Experience.
Client Communication: Contacting many clients daily, in order to gather information, documentation, or signatures.
Fast Paced Environment: Being comfortable in a fast paced work environment with strict deadlines and requirements.
Highly Organized & Detail Oriented: Ability to manage multiple Clients and Mortgages each day, quickly and accurately, in order to meet these deadlines.
Strong Communication skills: Through Email, Phone & Text to ensure a clear and smooth transaction for every client.
Strong Computer skills: Adobe or PDF Systems, Outlook, Word, Docusign, Pipedrive, and a high comfort level with technology.
Motivation & Independence: Self motivated to ensure you meet each deadline and are able to thrive in an independent environment.
Exceptionalism: Fresh Mortgage Co is a high producing Mortgage Brokerage which requires the employees to be above average in order to keep up to the busy environment.
Minimum Qualifications:

Experience in the Mortgage Industry.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written).
Accurate and detailed while working on multiple Mortgages at the same time.
Able to complete 10-20 applications per month.
