Summary

Silverback Heavy Haul Ltd is seeking a dedicated Dump Truck Driver to join our team in . This role is vital in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of oversized loads across our service regions, supporting our mission to provide reliable freight solutions with a focus on safety and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities

Operate dump trucks safely and efficiently to transport oversized loads across designated regions.
Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
Coordinate with logistics teams to plan routes and schedules.
Maintain accurate logs of trips, cargo, and vehicle maintenance.
Adhere to all safety protocols and transportation laws.
Assist with loading and unloading as needed.
Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding delivery schedules.
Perform basic maintenance checks on heavy equipment when necessary.
Qualifications

Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements.
Proven experience operating dump trucks or similar heavy equipment.
Strong understanding of safety regulations related to heavy hauling.
Ability to perform basic vehicle inspections and minor repairs.
Excellent communication skills.
Reliable with a strong work ethic.
Knowledge of route planning and logistical coordination.
Prior experience with oversized or heavy freight is preferred.
