ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a temporary Housekeeping position located at our beautiful Alpine Summit Seniors Lodge in Jasper working four (4) on , four (4) off 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. until the end of February 2025.

Looking to make a difference in your community while working with a passionate team? The position interacts with our resident senior and requires strong organizational skills as well as keen attention to hygienic practices and physical stamina.

JOB DUTIES

Ensure a clean, safe and comfortable environment is maintained for residents, staff and visitors
Clean and disinfect resident rooms, public and staff washrooms, common areas, stairways, etc. as per schedule
Take out garbage and recycling
Ensure safety equipment is used when using chemicals
Ensure MSDS sheets are in place and readily available for all chemicals used
Maintain work area in a clean and professional manner at all times, ensuring proper tools and equipment are available when needed
Be continually aware of, and maintain, the highest standards of professionalism by following the company dress code and/or wearing the company uniform
Maintain a clean, safe environment that conforms to all infection control guidelines and EGF policies and procedures
Protect the health and safety of you and others by adopting safe work practices and reporting unsafe conditions immediately
Attend staff meetings and training when required.
IDEAL CANDIDATE

Two years of related experience
Ability to use industrial cleaning equipment and products
Ability to work individually as well as part of a team
Must possess strong attention to detail and a desire to work efficiently
Strong communication, organizational and time management skills
High flexibility with strong interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse environment
Ability to prioritize and manage conflicting demands
Stamina to handle the physical demands of the job
NOTE: The successful candidate must have a clear Vulnerable Sector Check.
