JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Managing and leading your team at this property you will be empowered to embrace the following duties, as well as other duties communicated by the General Manager: Day-to-day operations: Utilize business acumen to develop and implement strategic plans and operational goals to create an exciting and current dining experience. This includes curating the beverage selection. Lead and guide the Food & Beverage service team to drive results. Execute banquets with the Sales Manager and Executive Chef, including set up and service. Monitor operations to ensure full compliance to hotel operating controls, SOP’s, policies, procedures, and service standards, identifying areas for improvement. Comply with all Government regulations, being a champion for a safe work environment. Ensure all decisions are made in the best interest of the hotel/resort and management. Physically tour and review all areas of the food & beverage operations on a daily basis. Lead by example, fostering our corporate culture. Represent the property on the Greenteam Perks & Benefits Company events Dental care Discounted or free food Employee assistance program Extended health care Life insurance On-site parking Position Requirements English Fluency Level required for position Advanced Job Requirements Proven experience in hotel food and beverage operations management, with a minimum of 3 years in a managerial role within a 3+ star property. A passion for food and beverage operations, being current with trends and best practices. Strong knowledge of food and wine pairings. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively. Familiarity with point-of-sale software and systems and Microsoft Office, especially MS Excel. Understanding of financial management principles, scheduling, and budgeting. Commitment to delivering outstanding guest service and maintaining high standards. Knowledge of employment standards, occupational health & safety, and sanitation regulations in the hospitality industry. Current certification in ProServe is required.
