We are seeking an experienced and passionate marketing manager to promote our growing brand!

Position Overview:

The Marketing Manager role focuses on the development and execution of marketing campaigns, managing digital and traditional advertising, and overseeing social media channels.

Responsibilities:

Email Marketing:

Advertise all specials and promotions communicated by the Marketing/Sales Director through email marketing.
Develop and send one email campaign per month for all assigned properties and the main account.
Regularly audit and update automated email campaigns/upsells on CRM.
Social Media:

Manage our main Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn account - reshare social media content from all properties.
Ensure that specials and promotions are communicated to the social media team for further sharing.
Update Website Content:

Regularly monitor all websites and the main website to ensure all information is up to date.
Communicate updates and corrections to the web development team as needed.
Ensure all promotional content is loaded on resort websites.
Follow Brand Guides:

Ensure all marketing efforts follow established brand guidelines to maintain consistency and quality across properties.
Generate Monthly Marketing Reports:

Compile monthly marketing performance reports.
Include data from Google Ads, Google Analytics (provided by the contracted Google Ads manager), email campaign performance, rate reports, and social media analytics.
Direct GM Communication:

Maintain clear communication with the General Managers regarding marketing initiatives, specials, and advertisement needs.
Collaboration and Meetings:

Meet with the social media team biweekly.
Collaborate with the digital designer to submit marketing materials requests (graphics, promotional content, etc.) and ensure timely receipt of materials to meet marketing deadlines.
Attend weekly meetings with the Marketing team, to ensure alignment of marketing strategies, to provide updates and ensure ongoing strategy alignment.
Execution of Pre-Planned Strategy:

Follow the three-month pre-planned strategy set by the Marketing Director, ensuring consistent execution of marketing tasks across all properties.
Additional Responsibilities:

Assist in crafting and implementing marketing campaigns under the supervision of the Director of Marketing.
Play a pivotal role in both digital and traditional advertising initiatives.
Manage and create content for resort social media channels, ensuring active and engaging presence.
Work in close conjunction with the Director of Marketing, the Director of Sales, and General Managers to ensure integrated marketing and sales strategies.
Coordinate photo and video shoots, adhering to the brand's visual guidelines.
Explore and maximize revenue opportunities through advertising, sponsorships, partnerships, and community engagement.
Contribute to overall INNhotels marketing efforts to enhance brand recognition in targeted markets.
Other marketing duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

Hotel PMS System Experience: Basic familiarity with hotel PMS systems such as WebRezPro or any other hotel customer service system to ensure smooth communication with the GMS and efficient management of operations.
Email Marketing Expertise: experience creating and managing email campaigns, preferably with Revinate or a similar tool. Understanding of email campaign performance metrics (open rates, click-through rates, etc.).
Content Writing and Copywriting Background: strong writing skills for copy of email campaigns, captions, and promotional content. Strong attention to detail to ensure adherence to brand voice and style.
Completion of Post secondary education is preferred, ideally in Communication, Marketing, or Advertising.
Social Media Management: proficiency in managing and resharing content on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn. Basic knowledge of design principles for creating visually appealing promotions and social media content.
Microsoft Office Suite Proficiency: skilled in using Microsoft Work, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Graphic Design Software: experience utilizing Canva, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, etc.
Other Software experience: Revinate CRM, Sked, and Wrike.
Valid Canadian Driver's License preferred.
