Jasper, AB Summary This is a full time, year round role, 5/7 day a week. Guest Services Agent’s rotate between working summer seasons at the Jasper SkyTram and winter seasons at Marmot Basin. The first 90 working days of employment is a probationary period. The Guest Services Agents are responsible for tickets and seasons passes. They are also responsible for overseeing the ticket sales team and reporting any issues to the Guest Services Coordinator or Supervisor/Assistant Supervisor. Core Competencies Excellent customer service skills Strong conflict resolution skills Confidence and leadership skills Strong organizational skills Strong computer skills Good cash handling and numeracy skills Reliable and trustworthy The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team Job Duties Count float at beginning & end of shift and sign it IN and OUT on control sheet Sell window tickets and apply different types of discounts Handle cash, credit card and debit transaction while using a computerised system (RTP/Siriusware) Know how to check usages on different cards (sunshine-marmot, snow pass junior, Marmot Escape etc.) Know how to create customer profiles (attach customers with relationships), check transaction history and hotlist passes if needed Cash-out and print the appropriate reports at the end of shift Make sure everything is in balance and debit machine is closed (transmit offline data) Write deposit on control sheet and sign for it Receive guest complaints and refer to supervisor if needed Be knowledgeable about both locations and where things are located Be familiar with the season’s pass office (forms, ties, cards, printers, etc.) Inform people about how Season’s passes, Marmot Escape Cards and SMC direct to lift passes Sell and process all the previously mentioned cards Process vouchers on correct accounts (reconcile at the end of the shift) File completed forms in appropriate binders Fix problems that could occur with the set-up of different products (e.g. component missing in a season pass sale, pass not scanning.) Enter and process destination/group bookings All Marmot Basin employees will conduct themselves in compliance with Alberta Occupational Health and Safety legislation as it relates to their job Respect and adhere to the company’s policies and procedures as set in the “Corporate Policies” and “Employee Handbook” Understand and adhere to Ski Marmot Basin’s “Harassment Policy” and the company’s “Privacy Policy”.
