Each staff member at Decore Hotels plays an essential role in creating a positive customer experience but Housekeeping room attendants are the basic difference between good and great service. Decore Hotels rely on their consistency of excellence and know how the role they play every day is important. 

Housekeeping room attendants aim to be pleasant, friendly and able to address problems or special requests since providing clean and comfortable rooms with a smile helps ensure guest satisfaction and their return to our hotels. 

Housekeeping takes pride in their thoughtful attention to detail on a routine basis, ensuring that guest rooms and public areas are clean and properly presented, maintaining the image of a positive guest experience. If you are able to work alone or in small groups towards a common goal, we would love to hear from you! We value individuals who understand the importance of making everything look good! 

Job Requirements – 

Must be able to read and write in English – 

Must maintain standards of excellence in hotel preparation and appearance – 

Able to work with minimal supervision – 

Capable of delegating work priorities in short order – 

Exceptional work ethic 

Job Responsibilities – 

General sweeping, mopping and floor washing duties – 

Dusting furniture and vacuuming carpeting, draperies and upholstery – 

Cleaning, disinfecting and polishing kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances – 

Make beds, change linens, distribute clean towels and toiletries – 

Wash windows, walls and occasionally ceilings – 

Pick up and empty trash and debris – 

Restock room amenities at guests’ requests – 

Report and store lost items found in rooms – 

Ensure public use areas are clean, only as required – 

Ensure furniture is in place and in working order – 

Answer guest questions about hotel or Jasper amenities and conveniences – 

Possibly handle minor complaints, deferring to the Supervisor as necessary – 

Stock linen and supplies
