The role combines expert riding skills, strong customer service, and deep knowledge of local history, wildlife, and scenic routes. Position Overview The Motorcycle Tour Guide is responsible for operating a motorcycle or sidecar rig while guiding guests through designated routes. This role requires exceptional riding ability, strong communication skills, and the ability to create a fun, safe, and memorable experience for visitors. Key Responsibilities Operate motorcycle or sidecar rigs safely while following all traffic laws and company protocols. Provide engaging narration about local history, wildlife, landmarks, and cultural points of interest. Assist guests with helmets, gear, seating, and safety briefings. Perform pre‑ride and post‑ride inspections of motorcycles and equipment. Monitor weather and road conditions and adjust routes as needed. Ensure guest comfort throughout the tour, including photo stops and rest breaks. Handle guest questions and provide friendly, professional service. Report mechanical issues or safety concerns to management. Promote company tours and encourage positive reviews from guests. Qualifications Valid motorcycle license (Class 4 and 6 in Alberta) with clean driving record and has been riding for 2 years. Strong riding experience; sidecar experience is an asset (training will be provided). Knowledge of local geography, wildlife, and tourism highlights. Excellent communication and storytelling skills. Ability to lift and move gear (typically 25–40 lbs). Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and peak tourism season.
