Full job description
The Line Cook is responsible for the execution of all food menu items in an accurate and efficient manner. In order for the kitchen to run smoothly, this role requires the individual to be organized and detail-oriented. The Line Cook plays a key role in ensuring that the business consistently delivers high-quality food products, as well as working cohesively with the service team to support the successful execution of the menu.

Duties and Responsibilities

Inventory and Prep

Review inventory and projected sales to ensure enough product is prepared for each shift.
Complete all food production and prep sheets, and communicate with management about food quantities and quality.
Food Production and Kitchen Operations

Prepare dishes to order, focusing on food quality, portion control, and presentation by adhering to all recipes.
Ensure stations are stocked and ready for service.
Maintain a clean and organized work station, including all countertops, utensils, and equipment.
Complete operational checklists to support standards of cleanliness, timeliness, and food consistency.
Verify the accuracy and quality of all supplier deliveries. Follow all food safety regulations and restaurant policies for food storage, handling, and disposal.
Team Collaboration

Communicate clearly and respectfully with teammates.
Assist in training new team members on food preparation, cooking techniques, and safety protocols.
Ability to work on or support multiple stations throughout a shift.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
Pay: $17.00-$21.00 per hour

Jasper, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
Experience:
