Overview
The Raven Bistro is seeking dedicated and experienced Line Cooks to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a strong understanding of kitchen operations, with a minimum of 1 year experience. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our meals are prepared to the highest standards, contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests. This position requires a commitment to food safety and quality, as well as the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

The Raven Bistro offers staff accommodation to qualified applicants, top wages in the industry and flexible scheduling and time off requests. We are hiring full time line cooks and dishwashers, both as permanent year round employment and temporary seasonal workers until the end of September.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards set by the restaurant.
Assist in meal preparation by chopping, slicing, and preparing ingredients.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment.
Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures at all times.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate needs to the kitchen manager.
Participate in daily kitchen operations, including setting up and breaking down stations.
Ensure all dishes are plated beautifully and meet presentation standards before serving.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 50 per week
