SunDog Transportation and Tours has been proudly serving guests in the Canadian Rockies for over 25 years. Based in Jasper, Alberta, we specialize in sightseeing tours, scheduled shuttle services, and private transportation. We live and breathe the mountains—and love helping others experience them.

We’re currently looking for a Dispatch and Logistics Assistant to support our operations team. This role is key to ensuring our services run safely and on time. You’ll work closely with the Dispatch and Logistics Coordinator to help manage daily scheduling, communication, and trip logistics.

About the Role

As a Dispatch and Logistics Assistant, you'll play a hands-on role in keeping our transportation services running smoothly. You'll assist in coordinating drivers, preparing trip documents, updating schedules, and communicating real-time changes to staff and guests. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow into a leadership role in transportation or operations.

Key Responsibilities

Support daily dispatch operations and assist with driver scheduling
Prepare and distribute trip sheets and route information
Communicate trip details, updates, and delays to drivers and staff
Monitor vehicle assignments and cleanliness in coordination with operations and maintenance teams
Update and maintain digital dispatch records and logs
Track road conditions, construction, weather, and other potential disruptions
Provide administrative support to the reservations and operations team
Work with third-party partners, tour directors, and team members to support guest needs
Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Strong organizational and communication skills
Experience in dispatch, logistics, or customer service is an asset
Computer proficiency (Google Workspace, MS Office, basic scheduling tools)
Ability to adapt to fast-changing schedules and operational needs
Knowledge of the Canadian Rockies and Jasper area is a plus
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
