Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nanny to provide exceptional care for children in a nurturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and the ability to create a safe, engaging, and educational atmosphere. This role requires flexibility, creativity, and strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with both children and parents.

More Details:

Both my husband and I work shift work that takes us away from home for varying amounts of time. This position would be the care of one child who is 3.5 years old. We provide a live in position with a furnished bedroom.

The pay in this position is negotiable with prior experience.

Duties

Supervise and engage the child in age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
Prepare nutritious meals and snacks, ensuring dietary needs are met.
Educate children through play-based learning, fostering their curiosity and creativity.
Maintain a clean and organized environment, including tidying up after activities and meals.
Provide care for children with disabilities, ensuring their specific needs are met with patience and understanding.
Assist with homework or educational tasks as needed.
Communicate regularly with parents regarding children's progress, behavior, and any concerns.
Skills

Proven experience in caregiving or babysitting roles, particularly with children of various ages.
Strong meal preparation skills, including the ability to cook healthy meals.
Ability to educate children effectively through engaging activities.
Experience working with children with disabilities is highly desirable.
Excellent cleaning skills to maintain a tidy environment for the children.
Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills are essential for building trust with both children and parents.
Creativity in developing fun and educational activities that stimulate children's growth.
