Northaven is seeking a Front Desk Receptionist!

Journey Northaven is a yoga and nature retreat located at the East edge of Jasper National Park in Alberta. We offer a myriad of services and retreats for our customers. From yoga classes and nature education to our cold plunge and sauna space, we offer a place where people can escape the hustle of life.

DUTIES OF THE FRONT DESK

As a front desk receptionist of Journey Northaven, you will be responsible for greeting guests, answering phone calls, responding to emails, and managing customer inquiries. You will also be responsible for maintaining a neat and professional lobby area, as well as taking payments and processing transactions. This position is for the summer season with the potential to expand and be a part of our company's growth. You may be asked to assist in other areas of the business as needed.

Duties:
- Greet guests with a warm and welcoming demeanor
- Check-in and check-out guests efficiently and accurately
- Provide information about facilities, services, and local attractions
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a professional manner
- Assist with reservations and room assignments
- Process payments and maintain accurate records of transactions
- Maintain a clean and organized facility
- Collaborate with other staff to ensure guest satisfaction
- Upsell amenities and services to enhance the guest experience

Requirements:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Background and experience in yoga, health and wellness
- Multilingual abilities are a plus
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to handle cash transactions and basic math calculations
- Proficient in using technology for reservations, check-ins, and other front desk operations
- Prior experience in customer service or hospitality is preferred
- Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply
