Job Description:

Jasper Employment & Education Centre is seeking a talented, passionate professional who will enjoy supporting jobseekers and employers in our Career & Employment Resource Centre. The ideal candidate will deliver an outstanding Client experience by creating a warm and welcoming first and last impression that exceeds the unique needs of each client.

Responsibilities:

Greet and welcome each Client in a personalized, friendly and inviting manner
Determine the client’s service needs and assist or connect the client to other programs
Provide job seekers with orientation and basic assistance with job readiness tools
Act as liaison between employers and the Centre in regard to job postings and meetings
Maintain and update our job board, database, social media and website
Answer the phone in a professional manner, providing callers with basic information about services when needed
Schedule client appointments in a manner that meets their needs
Record statistics and compile data for reports
Maintain proper office appearance and cleanliness
Operational tasks as required, such as writing cheques, creating invoices, maintaining our RingCentral account, submitting work orders, and organizing expense reports
Job Requirements:

Business administration diploma or equivalent relevant work experience
Excellent customer service skills
Independently motivated and demonstrates a high level of integrity and professional ethics
Ability to build positive relationships with clients, employers and stakeholders
Professional written and verbal communication skills
MS Office – intermediate to advanced
Database entry, report generation and documentation
Additional software competency – Google Docs, Facebook, Squarespace, Canva
