Duties

This position is primarily responsible to provide support to the solid waste program including the operation of a garbage truck. Other duties can include grounds maintenance, repair, and labour services to support road maintenance operations.

Intent of the process

The intent of this process is to fill a temporary term position (until October, 2023) however this process may be used to create a list of qualified candidates to staff similar positions with various tenures, in same or other parts of the country.

Secondary school diploma or approved alternative or acceptable combination of education, training, and experience.

Possession of a valid class 5 Driver’s License with air brake endorsement

EXPERIENCE
EX1: Experience in the operation of power tools such as lawn mowers and weed eaters
EX2: Experience in grounds maintenance
EX3: Experience In road maintenance.
