WHO WE ARE

The Evergreens Foundation is a not-for-profit housing management body proudly supporting independent housing in Alberta. We aim to facilitate quality of life for all of our residents, through our multiple senior and social housing facilities located in Hinton, Jasper, Edson, Grade Cache, Evansburg. We are growing at a fast face and expanding in Victor Lake and Wildwood!

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are currently seeking a Casual Maintenance Helper 1 who is looking to foster a positive environment while being a part of a passionate and a talented team. You will assist the Maintenance Coordinator with:

maintenance checks of interior and exterior of the buildings.
completion of work order tasks.
year round grounds keeping and maintenance.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR/QUALIFICATIONS

Experience in building maintenance, grounds keeping, or relevant field.
Knowledge of furnaces, boiler, heating equipment etc. is an asset.
Must have a valid driver's license and clean driver's abstract.
Computer literate and familiar with Microsoft word and excel.
Ability to lift heavy objects, walk, and stand for long periods of time.
Able to maintain patient and tactful composure when dealing with residents, family members, visitors and fellow employees.
NOTE: Hourly rate will be as per The International Union of Operating Engineers, Local Union No. 955.
